“Well, this fit the bill in every aspect. Very lightweight, works perfectly on my stairs and easy to pick up to use on furniture I love that I can push the handle down inside and pop the flat part off the bottom and have an instant dust buster! the suction is excellent. I swiffered, then used the broom, THEN used this and I was amazed at how much more “stuff” was caught up in the little bag/filter this is NOT to replace a regular vacuum cleaner or to be used to clean the entire house top to bottom, it’s not meant for that. Some consumers complained that this vacuum come with poor suction up of sand, which, however, is totally wrong. The only thing that it is unable to get complete clean of sand is due to the fact that the deeply grooved mat at the door to trap sand. It is not a big deal to bend over, pick up the mat, shake it and then use the Eureka. Others reported that the canister fills quickly and the filter clogs fast. In fact, it is not a great minor. Filter clogs fast means that the Eureka is doing its job on dust and hair/fur. It is very easy to clean the filter. Still another complaint was made that it is too noisy. The noisy can be changed easily, just pull the head out and replace with the extension.
