This vacuum has a good strong suction. The only bad part is one has to clean all the removable parts and filters after each use. The tank/canister needs to be dumped more than Hoover Wind Tunnel, but it’s a good trade-off, because the bottom of the Wind Tunnel’s tank gets full and Bissell Cleanview Helix Upright just gives up. It does a good job, able to pick up so much dust and hair. It is not a silent model, but the overall operational noise was just fine, which is no surprises. Another complaint is the foam filter packs up pretty fast with fine dust and is a little nasty to clean. But this probably wouldn’t be an issue in a normal home app. Also, the hose attachments aren’t nearly a powerful as a shop vacuum, but it has been very effective and MUCH more durable than one’s expectation.
